Author Guidelines
Maulana Advances in Inclusive Education invites original, high-quality research manuscripts that contribute to the understanding, practice, and advancement of inclusive education. This journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly integrity and adherence to international standards. Authors are encouraged to review these guidelines carefully to ensure their manuscripts align with the journal’s requirements.
1. Manuscript Categories
We accept the following types of manuscripts:
- Original Research Articles: Empirical studies presenting new findings in inclusive education (5,000–7,000 words).
- Review Articles: Systematic or narrative reviews summarizing current research trends (5,000–6,500 words).
- Theoretical Papers: Articles advancing theoretical models or frameworks (5,000–6,500 words).
- Case Studies: Practical case studies of inclusive practices in real-world settings (4,000–5,000 words).
- Practice-Oriented Articles: Applied research or discussions of best practices in inclusive education (4,000–5,000 words).
- Policy Analysis: Analysis of policy impacts on inclusive education (4,000–6,000 words).
All word counts include references, figures, and tables.
2. General Structure and Formatting

Title Page: Include the manuscript’s title (up to 15 words), authors' full names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, contact information of the corresponding author, and any acknowledgments.

Abstract: The abstract should be concise (200–300 words), summarizing the study's purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusions. It should include 3–5 keywords that reflect the manuscript's main themes.

Main Text: Organize the manuscript as follows:
- Introduction: Clearly define the research problem, significance, objectives, and hypotheses (if applicable).
- Literature Review: Provide a summary of relevant literature to establish the study's context.
- Methodology: Describe the research design, participants, instruments, procedures, and data analysis methods in detail, ensuring reproducibility.
- Results: Present findings with appropriate tables and figures. Only include relevant results directly addressing research questions.
- Discussion: Interpret results in the context of the literature, discuss implications, limitations, and suggest areas for future research.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings and contributions of the study.
- References: Follow APA 7 style guidelines for in-text citations and references.

Tables and Figures: Embed tables and figures within the main text where they are first cited. Tables should be created using the Word table function. Figures should be high-resolution and labeled appropriately. Each table and figure should include a title and be numbered consecutively.
3. Referencing Style
All citations and references must follow the APA 7th Edition style guidelines. Common formats include:

4. Submission Process

Manuscript Submission: Submit manuscripts online through the journal’s submission portal [Submission Link]. Include a cover letter addressed to the editor, confirming the originality of the work, absence of simultaneous submissions, and any competing interests.

Double-Blind Review: Remove any identifying information from the manuscript file to ensure anonymity in the review process.
5. Ethical Considerations
Authors are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
- Authorship: All listed authors should have made significant contributions to the research. Changes to authorship after submission are discouraged and require justification.
- Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and will be screened through plagiarism detection software.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest in a separate section at the end of the manuscript.
- Ethical Approval: Studies involving human participants must include a statement of ethics approval and informed consent in the methodology section.
6. After Acceptance
Upon acceptance, authors will receive proofs for final review. Minor typographical corrections can be made at this stage, but substantive changes are not permitted.
7. Copyright and Open Access
Maulana Advances in Inclusive Education is an open-access journal, meaning all articles are freely accessible online. Authors will retain copyright under a Creative Commons Attribution license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with appropriate credit.
