To uphold this commitment, Tijara partners with established preservation services and follows globally recognized digital archiving standards. This includes participation in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and the adoption of the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) principle.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

Tijara actively participates in the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network (PN), a trusted global initiative dedicated to preserving open-access scholarly content. Through PKP PN, Tijara ensures that:

  • All published articles are securely deposited into a decentralized digital preservation network.

  • Articles remain accessible even in the event of journal platform failure, website downtime, or publisher disruption.

  • Preservation copies are continually validated and checked for integrity.

This initiative guarantees that Tijara content remains permanently available to readers and researchers worldwide, ensuring that our publications are safeguarded against future technological disruptions.

Adopting the LOCKSS Principle

Tijara embraces the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) principle, which highlights the importance of maintaining multiple copies of scholarly content across various locations and systems. By adopting this approach, we:
