Papers submitted to Tijara are published as open-access articles. Authors will be charged an Article Processing Charge (APC) if their manuscript is accepted for publication.

Article Processing Charge (APC)
Authors are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their manuscript. This fee covers the costs associated with:

Peer review administration and management.

Professional production of the article in PDF and other formats.

Dissemination of the published paper across various platforms and venues.

Other publishing-related functions.
Please note that the option to process an advance payment is available but does not guarantee the acceptance of manuscripts. There are no charges for articles that are rejected, no submission charges, and no additional fees based on the length of the article, figures, or supplementary data.

Article Withdrawal and Retraction
To maintain the integrity of the publication process and compensate for the resources expended during peer review and production, the following policies apply to authors submitting manuscripts to Tijara:
Withdrawal

Before the Peer Review Process: Authors may withdraw their manuscript without any penalty.

During or After the Review Process: If an author decides to withdraw their submission after the review process has begun, a withdrawal fee of USD 50 will be charged. This fee compensates for the time and effort invested by the editorial team and reviewers.
Retraction

If an author requests the retraction of an article after publication, a retraction fee of USD 100 will be charged. This fee covers administrative costs, content removal, indexing updates, and issuing a retraction statement.

The request for retraction must be submitted in writing to the editorial office, including a valid justification. The final decision on retraction will be made by the editorial board, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
